Cook-Illinois Corporation, one of the largest family owned and operated school bus contractors in the United States hosted their 5th Annual SIPE Awards at their corporate office in Oak Brook, Illinois Saturday November 9th.
SIPE is an acronym that stands for Safety, Industry knowledge, Professionalism, and Efficiency. Winners are chosen by their managers based on these four qualities.
Winners arrived at Cook-Illinois Corporation and walked the red carpet into the building where their pictures were taken and the evening began. Our SIPE recipients then get to mix and mingle with all of the winners and manager’s from the different locations, while enjoying plenty of exquisite food, desserts, and drinks.
This year we celebrated 33 SIPE winners! Their managers were given the opportunity to share their appreciation of the hard work and dedication each winner has shown in their line of duty and then presented them with their trophies. It was truly a very nice evening and a good time was had by all!!
