American School Bus Company was formerly known as Warning Charter Services, Inc. Located in Frankfort, Illinois, it has continually provided school bus service to many of the southwest suburban communities which we have proudly served since 1965.

American School Bus is an affiliated company of Cook-Illinois Corporation, the largest family owned and operated school bus contractor in the United States. As part of the Cook-Illinois family, we have the resources and knowledge to provide superior school transportation.

The present Frankfort management and staff have successfully operated both Regular and Special Education buses out of our present facility for more than forty (40) years. Each segment of our contracts has its own supervisor and dispatcher who are coordinated by the Operations Manager to ensure the maximum efficiencies in all phases of the operation. The Frankfort location is a full-service facility with four full-service maintenance bays and in-ground fuel storage on the premises.
